Dan spent several years doing maintenance for a property management company across Wisconsin. The difference between a good owner and a lazy one was hard to miss, and it was rarely complicated. Rents that hadn't moved in years, sloppy turnovers, small repairs left long enough to turn into big ones. The building lost value every year it ran that way, and the people living in it were affected the most.
Dan founded Ridgeline to buy apartments alongside investors who share the same goals. He wanted to be the one making the calls instead of getting sent out to clean up after owners who didn't care.
He hosts (Not So) Common Sense Real Estate, a weekly Tuesday networking call for investors and operators. He grew up in south-central Wisconsin, second oldest of fourteen, and still lives there with his wife. They are expecting their first child in April. Both are active in their church, where he helps coach the soccer team. Whatever time is left over goes to hunting and fishing.

Cody has a strong background in construction, operations, and business ownership, which gives him a practical, hands-on approach to real estate investing. After years in the skilled trades and running a successful heavy equipment rental business, he developed a deep understanding of real assets, project execution, and what it takes to create and preserve value in multifamily real estate.
As a Managing Partner at Ridgeline Real Estate Investments, Cody focuses on asset management and investor relations. He is passionate about identifying undervalued multifamily opportunities, implementing value-add strategies, and building long-term wealth for investors. Cody takes pride in his work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering results.
Outside of real estate, Cody enjoys spending time outdoors — whether it's hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or being on the lake — and most importantly, time with family and friends.
